….It all started about two Jeeps willys ago
The story of the jeeps: On one bright day I thought to myself, I have enough motors to make 2 little vehicles don’t I? So I started building and building until I had 2 almost identical looking jeeps, one with a gearbox and one without. A few day weeks later I discovered some malfunctions in the jeeps and sadly decided to take them apart. Although I kept the gearbox design in one piece. Added a V6 fake engine, 2 newly designed axles and a full pendular suspension. All this made the russian military truck KAMAZ 4326.
Now a little bit about the KAMAZ itself- The truck is driven by 1 XL motor and steered by 1 M. The remote gear changing is done by 1 M motor through a worm gear. The gearbox design is simple because the motor can slide along with the gears- meaning that the drive will only have to pass two shafts, not three. All the motors aboard are powered by one battery box. As for the look of the truck, its’ cabin has opening doors ind can open pneumatically(see video). The inside of the cabin isn’t so fancy… Just a chair 🙂
To conclude this truck: not the best one or the prettiest one, but another step to RULE THE WORLD!!! em, actually not, it’s .another step to make my future trucks better
how did you use the worm gear to get the clutch to move?
Actually I used the worm gear to move the whole structure where the motor sits in. You can see that at 1:27 in the video.
Thanks what gear ratios did you use for 1st,2nd,3rd.
What are you planning on making next?
For the first gear the ratio is 1:3 and on the second it is 1:9.
My new model is built and published at YouTube, check it out!
Could you make instructions for your axles?
They are dismantled now so I’m afraid not.
Oh well thanks
Do you know what you are going to make next?
Confidentially a Tatra 813 6×6 and maybe a Ferrari.
